What the hell has happened these past couple years.  Maybe I’ve been under a rock the whole time, but where have all these good MCs come from.  I guess I became extremely disillusioned with the whole mid 2000s southern rap explosion.  This is not to say I hated it all.  I guess it was the “hair metal” era of rap, those lost years of Bush’s second term.  Since then it seems like an explosion of good MCs.  Some took their chance and ran with it, ie Kid Cudi.  Others succumbed to the pressure and burnt out, ie Charles Hamilton.  A kinda-not-so-really new kid on the block from Chicago, Rockie Fresh.  He’s already dropped some dope mixtapes that got some big heads turning.  His most recent project is Driving 88, undoubtedly inspired by Back to the Future (peep that Delorean kid), and here is the title track from it.  STUNTIN
